Summer 2026  ·  Debut Show

The Biggest Little House
in the Forest

A summer of free, joy-stuffed storytelling for kids across Tulsa.

What is Biggest Little Forest about?

A butterfly finds a tiny house in the woods, and one by one new forest friends knock on the door. Each guest brings a song, a surprise, and a question: is there room for one more?

The Biggest Little House in the Forest is a funny, musical adventure about welcoming neighbors and making big friendships in small spaces.

  • Perfect for ages 6 and younger

  • ~40 min, no intermission

  • Live music and puppetry

  • Theatrical magic to engage the senses

  • Wiggling and blankets welcome

The Biggest Little House in the Forest is based on the book by Djemma Bider, adapted for the stage by Rosanna Staffa, with music by Victor Zupanc; originally commissioned and produced by Children's Theatre Company and produced by special arrangement with Plays for New Audiences.

How is the show good for families?

Kid-sized magic

Forty minutes is the sweet spot. Short enough for little attention spans, long enough to fall in love with the characters.

Built for laughing out loud

Live songs, memorable puppets, and a story your family will retell all summer.

Free, easy, and around the corner

Coming to Tulsa public libraries this summer. No tickets, no fuss. Just walk in, grab a seat, and watch a story come to life.

Is the show free?

Free family shows of The Biggest Little House in the Forest are coming to Tulsa City-County Library branches across the city.
